The volume of academic research is expanding rapidly, and with the rise of AI, the need for comprehensive, dynamic, and transparent evaluation has never been more urgent. At Signals, we are setting the new standard for how the world evaluates and trusts research. Our mission is to deliver deep evaluations of all research so it can be trusted, understood, and used to push the boundaries of human knowledge.
We are an independent, publisher-neutral startup building the next generation of research analysis. We recently raised a $1.1M Seed round, backed by strategic industry leaders including ACS Publications and Enago. This investment isn’t just financial—it’s a validation of our shared vision to protect the integrity of the scholarly record.
We are experiencing rapid adoption from publishers—from small societies to industry leaders. In our next stage of growth we are focussing on:
- Protecting Research Integrity: Build best-in-class products that help publishers bring only trustworthy research to their communities without compromising efficiency.
- Scaling Our Technology: Expand our proprietary data and further invest in ethical AI capabilities to transform editorial decision-making.
- Expanding the Signals Data Graph: Leverage our complex network of the world’s research data to help institutions, corporations, and researchers confidently identify high-quality research.
Are you mission-driven and want to help solve one of the biggest challenges the research ecosystem faces? Join us in building the next generation of research analysis and evaluation.
